Method

Preparing the Steak

1

Marinate the Steak

In a bowl, mix oyster sauce, salt, and black pepper. Add the flank steak and marinate for at least 30 minutes.

2

Cook the Steak

Preheat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the marinated steak for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare. Let it rest before slicing.

Making the Fries

3

Prepare the Potatoes

Wash and cut the potatoes into fries. Soak them in cold water for 30 minutes to remove excess starch.

4

Fry the Potatoes

Heat vegetable oil in a deep pan to 350°F (175°C). Fry the potatoes in batches until golden brown and crispy. Drain on paper towels and season with sea salt.

Making the Red Wine Jus

5

Prepare the Jus

In a saucepan, sauté shallots until translucent. Add red wine and beef stock. Simmer until reduced by half, then stir in butter until melted and smooth.

Making the Aioli

6

Mix the Aioli

In a bowl, combine mayonnaise, roasted garlic, Dijon mustard, and lemon juice. Mix until well combined.

Optional Fire Roasted Vegetables

7

Prepare and Roast Vegetables

Toss bell peppers and zucchini in olive oil and salt. Roast in the oven at 400°F (200°C) for 20 minutes until tender.
