Method

Cocktail

1

Prepare glass

Chill a martini or coupe glass by placing it in the freezer for 5–10 minutes or filling it with ice water while you prepare the cocktail.

2

Combine ingredients

In a cocktail shaker, add 6 ice cubes, 2 oz Absolut Mango Vodka, 0.5 oz Cointreau, 1 oz fresh orange juice, and 1 oz mango purée. The mango purée adds body and concentrated mango flavor that complements the mango vodka.

3

Shake

Secure the shaker lid and shake vigorously for 12–15 seconds until the outside of the shaker is very cold and slightly frosted. This chills and slightly dilutes the mixture for balance.

4

Strain into glass

Discard the ice water from the chilled martini/coupe glass (if used). Fine-strain the cocktail into the chilled glass using a Hawthorne strainer and, if desired, a fine mesh strainer to remove any mango fiber or ice shards.

5

Add grenadine

Carefully pour 0.25 oz (a splash) of grenadine down the side of the glass or gently over the back of a spoon so it sinks slowly toward the bottom, creating a gradient pink base and a hint of sweetness.

6

Final touch

If desired, give the drink one very gentle stir (no more than 1–2 revolutions) to create a subtle swirl without fully blending the grenadine layer.

Garnish & Serve

7

Garnish the rim of the glass with a fresh mango slice or a twisted strip of orange peel and optionally drop a cocktail cherry into the glass for color contrast.

8

Serve immediately while cold. Recommend serving as a single cocktail (serves 1).
