Prepare the Chicken
Season the chicken breasts with salt and black pepper. Dredge them in flour, shaking off any excess.
Sauté the Chicken
In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the chicken breasts and sauté until golden brown on both sides, about 4-5 minutes per side. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
Make the Sauce
In the same skillet, add butter and minced garlic. Sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant. Add capers, chicken broth, and lemon juice, scraping up any browned bits from the bottom of the skillet.
Combine and Finish
Return the chicken to the skillet and simmer for an additional 5 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld. Remove from heat and stir in fresh parsley.
Serve
Serve the chicken topped with the caper and lemon sauce.
