Prepare glass
Pouring and finishing
Open a 12 fl oz can or bottle of chilled Coca‑Cola. Tilt the glass slightly and pour the Coke gently down the side to preserve carbonation and reduce foaming. Fill to about 1/2 inch from the top.
Give the drink one gentle stir with a bar spoon or stirrer to integrate temperature and ice without releasing too much fizz.
If using, run the lime wedge around the rim of the glass and drop it into the drink or set it on the rim as a garnish.
Serve immediately while cold and fizzy.
