Citrus San Pellegrino (single serving)
Optional Lemon Variation (single serving)
Optional Sweetener (if desired)
Method
Citrus San Pellegrino (orange version)
Prepare glass
Fill a highball glass or tumbler with 4 ice cubes.
Add citrus
Pour 1/4 cup (60 ml) fresh orange juice over the ice. If you prefer a sweeter drink, stir in 1 teaspoon simple syrup or honey now.
Add sparkling water
Slowly pour 1 cup (240 ml) chilled San Pellegrino sparkling water into the glass to preserve carbonation. Stir gently once with a bar spoon or straw to combine — avoid vigorous stirring.
Garnish and serve
Float a thin orange slice on top or place it on the rim. Serve immediately with a straw or spoon.
Lemon Variation
Prepare glass
Fill a highball glass or tumbler with 4 ice cubes.
Add citrus
Pour 1/4 cup (60 ml) fresh lemon juice over the ice. If you want it slightly sweet, add 1 teaspoon simple syrup or honey and stir gently to dissolve.
Add sparkling water
Slowly pour 1 cup (240 ml) chilled San Pellegrino sparkling water into the glass to keep the bubbles lively. Stir once gently to combine.
Garnish and serve
Garnish with a thin lemon slice on the rim and serve immediately.
Notes
If using a flavored San Pellegrino (e.g., Aranciata or Limonata), reduce or omit the added fresh juice to avoid overpowering sweetness — 1–2 tablespoons of fresh juice is enough for brightness.
For a pitcher (4 servings): multiply citrus juice and sparkling water by 4, add ice to individual glasses rather than the pitcher to preserve carbonation, and garnish each glass separately.
