Place the 750 ml bottle of Pinot Grigio in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours before serving. If you need it cooled quickly, put the bottle in an ice bucket filled with 1 cup of ice and cold water for 20–30 minutes.

Chill the bottle

Select white wine glasses (one per guest). Rinse them briefly with cold water and let them air-dry or wipe with a lint-free cloth to ensure they are cool and clean.

Prepare glassware

Carefully remove the foil and use a corkscrew (or twist-off) to open the bottle. Wipe the bottle mouth with a clean cloth if needed.

Open the bottle

Pour approximately 120–150 ml (about 1/5 to 1/6 of the bottle) of Pinot Grigio into each chilled white wine glass, filling to the widest part of the bowl to allow aromas to develop.

If desired, add a thin slice of stone fruit (peach or nectarine) to the rim or float lightly in the glass for a complementary stone-fruit aroma. Alternatively, twist a lemon peel over the glass to release citrus oils and drop it in.

Add garnish (optional)

Arrange Marcona almonds or a mild, creamy cheese alongside the glasses. These light snacks pair well with the wine's crisp acidity and stone-fruit notes.

Serve with snacks

When tasting, note the wine's crisp, zesty acidity up front, followed by delicate stone-fruit (peach/pear) flavors and a clean, slightly mineral finish typical of Veneto Pinot Grigio. Serve chilled (8–10°C / 46–50°F).

If the bottle is not finished, re-cork with the original cork or a wine stopper and store upright in the refrigerator for up to 3 days to preserve freshness. Discard after 3–4 days when aroma and flavor decline.
