Grilled Vegetables

Method

Preparing the Rib Steak

  1. 1

    Season the Steak

Generously season the USDA Prime rib steak on both sides with kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper. Allow it to rest at room temperature for at least 30 minutes.

  2. 2

    Preheat the Broiler

Preheat your oven's broiler to high heat, ensuring the rack is positioned about 6 inches from the heat source.

  3. 3

    Broil the Steak

Rub the steak with olive oil on both sides. Place the steak on a broiler pan and broil for 4-5 minutes per side for medium-rare, adjusting time according to desired doneness.

  4. 4

    Rest the Steak

Once cooked to your liking, remove the steak from the oven and let it rest for 5-10 minutes before serving.

Grilling the Vegetables

  1. 5

    Prepare the Vegetables

In a large bowl, combine sliced bell peppers, zucchini, and red onion. Drizzle with olive oil, then sprinkle with salt, black pepper, and dried Italian herbs. Toss to coat evenly.

  2. 6

    Grill the Vegetables

Preheat a grill or grill pan over medium-high heat. Add the seasoned vegetables and grill for about 5-7 minutes, turning occasionally, until they are tender and have nice grill marks.

  3. 7

    Serve

Once grilled, remove the vegetables from the heat and serve alongside the rib steak.
