Fruit Base

Fruit Base

1

Prepare Fruit

Rinse all fresh berries under cold water. Hull the strawberries and halve any large strawberries so pieces are roughly uniform in size. Measure the fresh strawberries, blueberries, and raspberries into a bowl.

2

Blend Frozen with Fresh

Place the frozen mixed berries into the blender first, then add the measured fresh berries. Starting with frozen fruit against the blades helps create a smoother texture.

Liquid & Sweeteners

3

Combine Liquids

Add the Greek yogurt and orange juice to the blender with the berries. Spoon in the honey or maple syrup, the lemon juice, and the vanilla extract. These balance sweetness and brighten the berry flavors.

4

Secure the blender lid and pulse 3 times to break up large pieces, then blend on high for 30–45 seconds until the mixture is smooth and evenly colored. If the mixture is too thick, add up to 2 tablespoons more orange juice or 1–2 tablespoons water and blend again.

Add-ins & Garnish

5

Add Ice for Chill

Add the ice cubes to the blender and blend an additional 10–15 seconds until the drink is chilled and slightly frothy. For a thinner consistency, add a few more ice cubes or 1–2 tablespoons additional liquid.

6

Taste and Adjust

Taste the Berry Blast and adjust sweetness or acidity as needed: add 1 teaspoon more honey or a squeeze more lemon juice, blending briefly after adjustments.

7

Serve

Pour the Berry Blast into two tall glasses. Garnish each glass with a few mint leaves and a spoonful of the extra whole berries on top. Serve immediately with a straw.
