Preparation of Fruits

Slice the Fruits

Wash and slice the oranges, lemon, and lime into thin rounds. Cut the peach into wedges and remove the pit. If using strawberries, hull and slice them in half. Set aside all the fruit.

Mixing the Sangria

Combine Ingredients

In a large pitcher, pour the red wine and orange liqueur. Stir gently to combine.

Add the Fruits

Add the prepared slices of oranges, lemon, lime, peach, and berries into the pitcher with the wine mixture.

Sweeten the Mixture

Add honey or simple syrup to the pitcher, adjusting sweetness to your taste. Stir well to incorporate.

Chill the Sangria

Cover the pitcher and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or overnight for the best flavor.

Serving

Serve the Sangria

Before serving, add sparkling water to the pitcher for a fizzy touch. Pour the sangria into glasses filled with ice and garnish with fresh mint leaves if desired.
