Preparation

Preparation

1. Prepare the Fruits

Wash all fruits thoroughly. Slice the oranges, lemons, and limes into thin rounds. Core and chop the apple into bite-sized pieces. If using strawberries, hull and slice them.

Mixing

2. Combine Ingredients

In a large pitcher, combine the sliced oranges, lemons, limes, chopped apple, and berries.

3. Add Wine and Brandy

Pour in the red wine and brandy into the pitcher with the fruit. Stir gently to combine.

4. Add Juices and Sweetener

Add the orange juice and simple syrup to the mixture. Stir again to ensure all ingredients are well incorporated.

Chilling

5. Refrigerate

Cover the pitcher and refrigerate for at least 2 hours (or up to 24 hours) to allow the flavors to meld together.

Serving

6. Serve the Sangria

Before serving, add the club soda to the sangria for some fizz. Stir gently. Pour into glasses filled with ice and garnish with additional fruit slices if desired.
