Preparation

1

Marinate the Tenderloin

In a bowl, mix olive oil, minced garlic, chopped rosemary, chopped thyme, salt, black pepper, and lemon juice. Place the Angus Reserve tenderloin in a resealable bag or a shallow dish and pour the marinade over the meat. Seal the bag or cover the dish and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, preferably overnight.

Cooking

2

Sear the Tenderloin

Preheat your grill or a cast-iron skillet over high heat. Remove the tenderloin from the marinade and shake off excess. Sear the tenderloin for 4-5 minutes on each side until a golden-brown crust forms.

3

Finish Cooking

Reduce the heat to medium and continue to cook the tenderloin until it reaches your desired level of doneness (about 10-15 minutes for medium rare). Use a meat thermometer to check the internal temperature (125°F for medium rare).

4

Rest and Serve

Remove the tenderloin from the heat and let it rest for 10 minutes before slicing. Serve with your choice of sides.
