Mystique Negroni

Method

Mystique Negroni

1

Build & Stir

Add gin (1 oz), sweet vermouth (1 oz) and Campari (1 oz) into a mixing glass or shaker filled with 6 ice cubes. Stir gently for 20–30 seconds until well chilled and slightly diluted.

2

Strain the mixture into a chilled old-fashioned glass over fresh ice (single large cube or several smaller cubes).

3

Express the orange peel over the drink by holding it skin-side down and giving it a firm twist to release oils, then rub the peel around the glass rim and drop it in as garnish.

4

Serve immediately. Notes: balance is 1:1:1 — adjust gin or vermouth to preferred dryness or sweetness.

Smoky Old Fashioned

5

Prepare Glass

Place a large ice cube into a rocks glass and set aside.

6

Mix

In a mixing glass, combine bourbon or rye (2 oz), simple syrup (0.25 oz) and 3 dashes of Angostura bitters with 3–4 ice cubes. Stir for 20–30 seconds until the mixture is well chilled and slightly diluted.

7

Strain the chilled spirit into the prepared rocks glass over the large ice cube.

8

Garnish & Smoke (optional)

Express an orange peel over the drink and rub the rim before dropping it in. If using a smoking cloche or wood chip, ignite the chip briefly and capture the smoke in the cloche placed over the glass for 10–20 seconds, then remove the cloche just before serving so the smoke sits on the surface.

9

Serve immediately. Adjust simple syrup amount if you prefer sweeter or drier.

Citrus Basil Smash

10

Muddle

In a shaker, add 6 fresh basil leaves and 0.5 oz simple syrup. Gently muddle just to release aromatic oils — avoid shredding the basil into tiny pieces.

11

Shake

Add vodka (2 oz), fresh lemon juice (0.75 oz) and a handful of crushed ice (about 1 cup). Cap and shake vigorously for 10–15 seconds until the shaker is cold to the touch.

12

Double strain (or fine strain if you prefer no flecks) into a rocks glass filled with fresh crushed ice.

13

Top with 1 oz club soda, give a gentle stir to integrate, and garnish with a basil sprig and a thin lemon wheel or twist.

14

Serve immediately to preserve herb aromatics.

Sparkling Rose Royale

15

Build

Chill a flute or coupe. Add 0.5 oz elderflower liqueur to the bottom of the glass.

16

Pour 4 oz chilled rosé sparkling wine gently into the glass to preserve bubbles.

17

Drop 2 fresh raspberries into the glass to add flavor and visual appeal, and garnish with a lemon twist perched on the rim.

18

Serve immediately. For a sweeter variation, add 0.25 oz simple syrup before adding sparkling wine.
