Preparation
Rim and chill
Rub a lime wedge around the rim of a rocks glass and dip into salt to create a light salt rim. Fill the glass with ice and set aside.

In a shaker, add 60 ml reposado tequila, 22 ml fresh lime juice, 30 ml orange liqueur, 15 ml agave nectar, and the jalapeño slice (if using). Add 4 ice cubes to the shaker.
Shake
Shake vigorously for 10-12 seconds until well chilled.
Finish and Serve
Strain the cocktail into the prepared rocks glass over fresh ice.
Garnish with a lime wheel on the rim.
Optionally express the oils from a lime peel over the drink for aroma.
