Method
Instructions
- 1
Prepare the Coffee
Brew a strong cup of coffee and let it cool. You can add a splash of coffee liqueur for extra flavor, if desired.
- 2
Mix Mascarpone Filling
In a large bowl, whisk together the mascarpone cheese, heavy cream, granulated sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy.
- 3
Soak the Ladyfingers
Quickly dip each ladyfinger into the cooled coffee, ensuring they are soaked but not soggy.
- 4
Layer the Tiramisu
In a rectangular dish, layer half of the soaked ladyfingers at the bottom, then spread half of the mascarpone mixture over them. Repeat with the remaining ladyfingers and mascarpone mixture.
- 5
Chill
Cover the dish with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight, to let the flavors meld.
- 6
Serve
Before serving, dust the top with cocoa powder and garnish with dark chocolate shavings.
