1. Cook the Pasta
In a large pot of salted boiling water, cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
2. Prepare the Steak
Season the steak with salt and black pepper on both sides. In a large skillet, heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the steak and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until desired doneness. Remove from the skillet and let it rest for 5 minutes, then slice thinly.
3. Make the Sauce
In the same skillet, add the remaining tablespoon of olive oil and minced garlic. Sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant. Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Stir in the Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
