OLD FASHIONED

Chill the Mercat Rose Cava NV bottle in the refrigerator for 1-2 hours. Gather 2 cups ice, 4 flute glasses, 2 lemon twists, and 4 strawberry slices.

Chill the bottle and prep

Fill a wine bucket with ice and a splash of water. Place the flute glasses in the chilled area and keep garnish ready.

Set up ice bath and glasses

Carefully remove the foil and cage, hold the bottle at a slight angle, and slowly release the cork to avoid excessive foaming. Pour a small amount into each flute to pre-chill, then fill to about two-thirds.

Open and initial pour
