1

Chill a coupe or martini glass in the freezer for about 5 minutes.

2

Brew a fresh shot of espresso and allow it to cool to room temperature.

3

In a shaker, combine LP rum, cooled espresso, burnt sugar syrup, and cocoa nib infused walnut bitters.

4

Add ice cubes to the shaker and seal.

5

Shake vigorously for 12-15 seconds until the mixture is well chilled and slightly foamy.

6

Strain the cocktail into the chilled glass, using a fine mesh strainer to remove any ice shards.

7

Garnish with a twist of lemon zest over the surface to release oils, wipe the rim with the zest, then drop it into the drink. Top with a light dusting of cocoa nibs if desired.
