Cooking Instructions
Prepare the Meatballs
In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, egg, minced garlic, parsley, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.
Form the Meatballs
Shape the mixture into meatballs, about 1 inch in diameter. Place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Cook the Sausage
In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the sweet Italian sausage until browned and cooked through. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
Cook the Meatballs
In the same skillet, add the formed meatballs and cook until browned on all sides, about 8-10 minutes. Ensure they are cooked through.
Combine with Marinara
Once the meatballs are cooked, pour the marinara sauce into the skillet and add the cooked sausage. Simmer for about 10 minutes until heated through.
Add Cheese
Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese on top of the meatballs and sausage. Cover the skillet and let it cook for an additional 5 minutes until the cheese is melted.
Serve
Serve hot, garnished with additional parsley or Parmesan if desired.
