Method

Prepare the Steak

1

Broil the Steak

Preheat the broiler. Season the New York steak with salt and pepper. Place it on a broiler pan and broil for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or until desired doneness. In the last minute, add Gorgonzola cheese on top to melt.

Prepare the Salad

2

Chop the Vegetables

While the steak is broiling, chop the Romaine lettuce, Roma tomatoes, cucumber, and red onion. Combine them in a large salad bowl.

3

Make the Vinaigrette

In a small bowl, whisk together Dijon mustard, olive oil, red wine vinegar, honey, salt, and black pepper until emulsified.

4

Assemble the Salad

Add the garlic toast croutons to the salad bowl. Drizzle the vinaigrette over the salad and toss gently to combine.

Serve

5

Plate the Dish

Slice the broiled New York steak and place it on top of the salad. Serve immediately while the steak is warm.
