Brown sugar glaze, candied bacon, Whiskey River® BBQ Sauce, Cheddar, caramelized onions, lettuce and mayo on a toasted brioche bun.
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Lay the bacon slices flat on the sheet and sprinkle brown sugar generously over each slice. Bake for 20-25 minutes until crispy and caramelized. Let cool and chop into pieces.
In a skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Slice onions and add to the skillet. Cook, stirring occasionally, for about 20-25 minutes until they are soft and caramelized. Set aside.
Form the ground beef into 4 patties and season with salt and pepper. Grill over medium-high heat for about 4-5 minutes on each side, adding a slice of cheddar cheese on top of each patty during the last minute to melt.
Toast the brioche buns. Spread mayonnaise on the bottom half of each bun. Layer with lettuce, the grilled burger patty with melted cheese, caramelized onions, candied bacon, and a generous drizzle of Whiskey River BBQ Sauce. Top with the other half of the bun.
