Cedar Plank Salmon Ingredients

Method

Cedar Plank Salmon Directions

1

Prepare the Cedar Plank

Soak the cedar plank in water for at least 30 minutes. This prevents it from burning while grilling.

2

Make the Maple Glaze

In a small bowl, whisk together maple syrup, soy sauce, minced garlic, lemon juice, salt, and black pepper.

3

Prepare the Salmon

Place the salmon fillet on the soaked cedar plank. Brush the maple glaze generously over the salmon.

4

Cook the Potatoes

In a pot, boil diced potatoes until tender. Drain and let cool slightly. Toss with olive oil, salt, and pepper. Optionally, pan-fry until crispy.

5

Grill the Salmon

Preheat the grill to medium heat. Place the plank with the salmon on the grill and cover. Grill for about 15-20 minutes, or until salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.

6

Cook the Eggs

In a small pan, cook the eggs to your preference (sunny-side up, scrambled, etc.).

7

Serve

Serve the grilled salmon with crispy potatoes and cooked eggs on the side. Garnish with fresh parsley.
