Cocktail
- 1
Chill glass
Place a coupe or chilled rocks glass in the freezer for 5–10 minutes, or fill with ice and water while you prepare the cocktail to cool it down.
- 2
Build and stir
Fill a mixing glass with plenty of fresh ice. Add 2 oz bourbon, 3/4 oz sweet vermouth, 1/4 oz dry vermouth, 1/4 oz yellow Chartreuse, 2 dashes Angostura bitters and 1 dash orange bitters. Stir gently and steadily for 30–45 seconds until the mixture is well-chilled and slightly diluted (about 15–20% dilution from the ice).
- 3
Prepare glass & garnish
If you chilled your serving glass with ice water, dump and dry it. Express an orange peel over the glass by holding it skin-side down over the top and giving it a firm twist to release the oils, then run the peel around the rim and set aside. Skewer a Luxardo cherry on a cocktail pick if desired.

Strain and serve
Double-strain the cocktail from the mixing glass into the chilled coupe or rocks glass (use a julep strainer and a fine-mesh sieve if you have one). Garnish with the orange peel (twist dropped into the drink or rested on the rim) and the Luxardo cherry. Serve immediately.

Notes
Adjust the vermouth ratio to taste — increase sweet vermouth for a richer, sweeter profile or increase dry vermouth for a drier, more spirit-forward drink. Yellow Chartreuse adds a vegetal, honeyed complexity; omit or reduce if unavailable.
