Ingredients

Cocktail Base

Blackberry Drizzle & Garnish

Preparation

Cocktail Base

1. Prepare and shake

Add gin, fresh lemon juice, and simple syrup to a cocktail shaker. Fill the shaker with ice (enough to chill and dilute properly). Shake vigorously for 10–15 seconds until well chilled.

2. Glass prep

Fill an old-fashioned glass with crushed ice, leaving room at the top for the blackberry drizzle and garnish.

3. Strain the shaken mixture over the crushed ice in the prepared glass, pouring evenly to create a cold, slightly diluted base.

Blackberry Drizzle & Garnish

4. Add blackberry liqueur

Slowly pour the blackberry liqueur over the top of the drink so it sinks and creates the signature bramble 'bramble' streaks through the ice and base.

5. Muddle blackberries (optional)

If you prefer extra fruit flavor, gently muddle 2 fresh blackberries in the bottom of the serving glass before adding ice and then proceed with the shaken base. If you muddle, you may strain to remove large seeds when pouring.

6. Garnish and finish

Garnish with a lemon wheel and a sprig of fresh mint tucked against the rim and spear a blackberry on a cocktail pick if desired. Serve with a short straw and enjoy immediately.
