- 1
Prepare glass and aromatics
Choose a large wine glass or a stemmed balloon glass. Fill the glass about three-quarters full with ice (large cubes are preferred to slow dilution; crushed ice may be used for a colder, more rapidly diluted drink). Lightly clap 4–6 fresh mint leaves between your palms to release the oils, then drop them into the glass. Cut half a lime into wedges; add one half-wedge to the glass and gently press it once with a spoon to release a bit of juice and aroma (do not over-muddle — you want fragrance, not bitterness).
- 2
Add liqueur and Prosecco
Pour 1 oz St. Germain elderflower liqueur over the ice and mint. Slowly add 4 oz chilled Prosecco down the side of the glass to preserve effervescence and avoid foaming. Pour gently so bubbles stay lively.
- 3
Top with soda and adjust
Add 1 oz chilled club soda for a light, fizzy lift. Taste briefly and, if you prefer slightly brighter acidity, squeeze the remaining quarter-lime (about half a lime total used) into the drink and discard the rind pieces.

Garnish and serve
Garnish with a fresh mint sprig placed upright and a lime wheel or wedge on the rim. Serve immediately with a straw or stirring spoon so the drinker can gently mix as they sip to refresh the mint aroma.
