Preparation

1

Chill Your Glass

Begin by chilling your serving glass. You can do this by filling it with ice water and setting it aside while you prepare the cocktail.

2

Mix the Ingredients

In a mixing glass, combine 2 oz of Rittenhouse Rye, 0.5 oz of Luxardo Maraschino Liqueur, 2 dashes of Orange Bitters, and 1 dash of Aromatic Bitters.

3

Add Ice

Fill the mixing glass with ice and stir the mixture for about 30 seconds, until well chilled and diluted.

4

Prepare the Glass

Empty the ice water from your chilled glass. If desired, you can also add a large ice cube to the glass for serving.

5

Strain and Serve

Strain the chilled mixture into the prepared glass. Make sure to leave any ice in the mixing glass.

6

Garnish

Garnish your Old Fashioned with a slice of orange peel and a Luxardo cherry. Express the oils from the orange peel over the drink before placing it in.
