Cooking Instructions
Prepare the Ingredients
Start by gathering all the ingredients. Rinse the snapper fillets under cold water and pat them dry with paper towels. Chop the garlic cloves finely, grate the ginger, slice the green onions, and dice the red bell pepper into small pieces. Set them aside.
Marinate the Snapper
In a medium bowl, combine the soy sauce, lime juice, garlic, ginger, salt, and black pepper. Place the snapper fillets in the marinade, making sure they're fully coated. Allow to marinate for at least 15 minutes.
Heat the Pan
In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Allow the oil to get hot but not smoking.
Add Vegetables
In the last few minutes of cooking the fish, add the diced red bell pepper and sliced green onions to the skillet. Stir gently to combine and let them cook until they are tender.
Garnish and Serve
Once the snapper is cooked and the vegetables are tender, remove from heat. Garnish with fresh cilantro and serve immediately with lime wedges on the side.
