Preparation Steps
1. Prepare the Broth
In a large pot, combine chicken broth, miso paste, soy sauce, mirin, and sesame oil. Bring to a simmer over medium heat, stirring until the miso paste is fully dissolved.
2. Cook the Noodles
In a separate pot, boil water and cook the ramen noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
3. Blanch the Bok Choy
In the same pot of boiling water, blanch the bok choy for about 1-2 minutes until bright green. Remove and set aside.
4. Assemble the Ramen Bowls
Divide the cooked ramen noodles into bowls. Pour the hot miso broth over the noodles. Top each bowl with sliced char siu, fish cake, blanched bok choy, a soft-boiled egg, and chopped green onions.
5. Serve
Drizzle with additional sesame oil if desired, and serve hot.
