Moscow Mule

Method

Moscow Mule

  1. 1

    Chill and prepare

Chill a copper mug in the freezer for 5–10 minutes or fill it with ice water while you prepare the drink. Remove and discard ice water just before assembling.

  2. 2

    Add vodka and lime

Fill the chilled copper mug about two-thirds full with crushed or cubed ice (approximately 1 cup). Pour 2 oz Tito's Vodka over the ice, then add 0.5 oz freshly squeezed lime juice.

  3. 3

    Top with ginger beer

Slowly top the drink with about 4 oz ginger beer to preserve carbonation. Gently stir once with a bar spoon (1–2 turns) to combine the vodka, lime juice, and ginger beer without flattening the ginger beer.

  4. 4

    Garnish and serve

Garnish with a lime wedge (squeeze a little over the drink if desired) and optionally a fresh mint sprig. Serve immediately with a straw or stirrer.
