Sweet Tea Vodka

Method

Sweet Tea Vodka

  1. 1

    Measure vodka

Pour 2 oz Deep Eddy Sweet Tea Vodka into a jigger and set aside.

Homestyle Lemonade

  1. 2

    Juice the lemon

Roll a fresh lemon on the counter to loosen juices, then cut and strain to measure 1 oz fresh lemon juice (about half a medium lemon).

  2. 3

    Make quick lemonade

In a small mixing glass or shaker, combine 1 oz fresh lemon juice, 0.5 oz simple syrup (adjust to taste for sweetness), and 1.5 oz cold water. Stir or shake briefly to combine. Taste and adjust with additional simple syrup or water if needed — lemonade should be bright and slightly sweet, not overly syrupy.

Assembly & Garnish

  1. 4

    Build the drink

Fill a highball or Collins glass with 1 cup of ice. Pour the 2 oz Sweet Tea Vodka over the ice. Add the prepared homestyle lemonade (about 3 oz).

  2. 5

    Mix

Gently stir the drink with a bar spoon 6–8 times to integrate the vodka and lemonade without flattening the ice.

  3. 6

    Garnish and serve

Garnish with a lemon wheel or wedge on the rim and an optional fresh mint sprig. Serve immediately with a straw or stirrer.
