Chicken Skewers

Peanut Sauce

Method

Chicken Skewers

1

Prepare the Chicken

Cut the boneless chicken breasts into 1-inch cubes. Mince the garlic cloves.

2

Marinate the Chicken

In a bowl, combine minced garlic, ground cumin, ground coriander, soy sauce, brown sugar, lime juice, salt, and vegetable oil. Add the chicken cubes and mix well to coat. Cover and marinate for at least 30 minutes in the refrigerator.

3

Soak Skewers

While the chicken is marinating, soak the wooden skewers in water for at least 30 minutes to prevent burning on the grill.

4

Skewer the Chicken

After marinating, thread the chicken cubes onto the soaked skewers, leaving a little space between each piece.

5

Grill the Chicken

Preheat the grill to medium-high heat. Grill the chicken skewers for about 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally, until fully cooked and slightly charred.

Peanut Sauce

6

Prepare the Sauce

In a saucepan over medium heat, combine peanut butter, coconut milk, soy sauce, lime juice, brown sugar, minced garlic, and chili paste.

7

Cook the Sauce

Stir continuously until the mixture is smooth and heated through, about 5-7 minutes. If the sauce is too thick, add water as needed to reach desired consistency.

8

Serve

Remove the peanut sauce from heat and let it cool slightly before serving alongside the grilled chicken skewers.
