Preparation Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Pork

If using Carnitas, season the pork shoulder with salt, black pepper, and cumin. If using Pastor, marinate the pork loin in adobo sauce for at least 1 hour.

  2. 2

    Cook the Pork

Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the seasoned or marinated pork and cook until browned and cooked through, about 20-25 minutes. Remove from heat and let rest before shredding.

  3. 3

    Prepare the Burritos

Lay out a flour tortilla and add a layer of shredded pork, black beans, cooked rice, and a drizzle of green sauce. Roll tightly to form a burrito.

  4. 4

    Serve

Top the burritos with cheese dip and pico de gallo. Serve with guacamole, jalapeño peppers, and additional green sauce on the side.
