Method

Cocktail

1

Build

Fill a highball or Collins glass with ice about three-quarters full.

2

Pour 2 oz vodka over the ice.

3

Add 4 oz cranberry juice.

4

Add 0.5 oz fresh lime juice to brighten the drink.

5

If you prefer slightly sweeter or more rounded flavors, add 0.25 oz simple syrup and/or 0.25 oz orange liqueur (Cointreau or triple sec). These are optional; omit for a more classic tart Nantucket style.

6

Stir gently with a bar spoon for about 10–15 seconds to combine and chill without over-diluting.

Garnish & Serve

7

Garnish the glass with a lime wheel or wedge on the rim. Optionally drop 2–3 fresh cranberries into the drink for a festive look.

8

Serve immediately with a straw or stirring stick. Recommend sipping chilled.
