OLD FASHIONED

In a mixing glass, combine the Ruster Ausbruch white wine, fresh citrus juice, and simple syrup. Stir gently to blend the flavors.

Prepare the Wine Base

In a separate glass, add the fresh mint leaves. Use a muddler or the back of a spoon to gently crush the mint leaves to release their essential oils.

Muddle the Mint

Add the muddled mint leaves to the wine mixture. Stir gently to combine, allowing the mint flavor to infuse into the drink.

Combine the Mixtures

Using a fine mesh strainer, pour the wine mixture into a chilled glass filled with ice. This will remove the mint leaves and any pulp from the citrus juice.
