Cooking Instructions

1

Prepare the Bacon

Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil for easy cleanup.

2

Season the Bacon

Place the thick-cut bacon strips on the baking sheet in a single layer. Sprinkle black pepper evenly over the bacon.

3

Add Maple Syrup

Drizzle the Michigan maple syrup generously over the bacon strips, ensuring they are well-coated.

4

Bake the Bacon

Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the bacon is crispy and caramelized. Keep an eye on it to prevent burning.

5

Melt the Dark Chocolate

While the bacon is baking, melt the dark chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl in 30-second intervals, stirring in between, until smooth.

6

Drizzle Chocolate

Once the bacon is done, remove it from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes. Drizzle the melted dark chocolate over the bacon strips.

7

Serve

Allow the chocolate to set slightly before serving. Enjoy your house-flared thick-cut bacon warm or at room temperature.
