Method

Bourbon Infusion

1

Infuse the Bourbon

In a small saucepan, melt the unsalted butter over low heat. Once melted, stir in the ground cinnamon. Add the bourbon to the saucepan and mix well. Remove from heat and let the mixture cool to room temperature.

2

Fat-Wash the Bourbon

After the mixture has cooled, pour it into a jar and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or overnight, allowing the butter to solidify. Once solid, skim off the butter layer from the top and discard it, leaving you with the infused bourbon.

Martini Preparation

3

Combine Ingredients

In a cocktail shaker, add 2 oz of the fat-washed bourbon, 1 tbsp of dulce de leche, and 1 cup of heavy cream. Shake vigorously for about 15 seconds to combine all ingredients thoroughly.

4

Serve the Martini

Strain the mixture into a chilled martini glass.

Garnishing

5

Garnish the Drink

Drizzle 1 tbsp of caramel sauce over the top of the martini and sprinkle a pinch of sea salt for added flavor.
