Chicken Tenders
Method
Preparation
Marinate the Chicken
Cut the chicken breast into tenders and soak in buttermilk for at least 1 hour, or overnight for best results.
Prepare the Breading
In a large bowl, mix together the flour, cornstarch, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper.
Bread the Chicken
Remove the chicken from the buttermilk and allow excess to drip off. Dredge each piece in the flour mixture, ensuring they are fully coated.
Fry the Chicken
In a large skillet, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat. Once the oil is hot, add the breaded chicken tenders in batches, frying until golden brown and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes per side.
Drain and Serve
Remove the tenders from the oil and place them on a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil. Serve warm with your favorite wavy sauce.
