Method
Chicken Tenders
Prepare the breading station
In a shallow bowl combine the flour, 0.5 tsp salt, 0.5 tsp black pepper, paprika and garlic powder. In a second bowl whisk the egg with 2 tbs milk. In a third shallow bowl place the breadcrumbs. These three bowls are your dredge, egg wash, and breadcrumbs.
Season the chicken strips lightly with the remaining 0.5 tsp salt and a pinch of black pepper. Coat each strip first in the seasoned flour (shake off excess), then dip into the egg-milk wash, and finally press into the breadcrumbs until evenly coated. Place coated tenders on a plate and let rest 5 minutes to set the breading.
Heat a large nonstick skillet over medium heat and add 3 tbs vegetable oil. When oil shimmers (about 1–2 minutes), add the tenders without crowding. Cook 3–4 minutes per side until golden brown and the internal temperature reaches 74°C (165°F). Drain on a paper towel-lined plate. If you prefer oven-baked tenders: preheat oven to 200°C (400°F) and bake on a parchment-lined tray for 12–15 minutes, turning once, until crisp and cooked through.
Serve the tenders with 2 tbs ketchup and/or 2 tbs ranch on the side for dipping.

Oven fries
Preheat oven to 220°C (425°F). Spread 120 g frozen fries in a single layer on a baking sheet. Bake 12–18 minutes, turning once halfway, until golden and crispy. Remove, sprinkle 0.25 tsp salt evenly, and serve hot.
Fruit cup
Portion 0.5 cup mixed fruit (bite-size apple pieces, halved grapes, or berries) into a small cup. If using apples, toss quickly with a few drops of lemon juice to prevent browning. Chill or serve immediately.

Assemble & Serve
Assemble the Kids Meal on a small plate or divided tray: place either the 3 chicken tenders (with dipping sauce) or the hot dog, add the chosen side (fries, carrots with dip, or fruit cup), and include the chosen drink. Include a napkin and utensils if needed. Confirm the child’s choice of sauce and drink before serving.
