Soda Options
- 1
Coca-Cola (regular)
If using a chilled glass, proceed to step. If not chilled, rinse glass with cold water and add 6 ice cubes. Hold the bottle/can about 2–3 inches (5–8 cm) above the glass with the glass tilted ~10–20°. Pour the Coca-Cola slowly down the side of the glass to preserve carbonation and minimize foaming. Leave ~1 cm headspace. Serve immediately.

Dr Pepper
If using ice, add 6 cubes to the chilled glass. Hold the Dr Pepper can/bottle 5–8 cm above the glass, tilt the glass slightly and pour slowly down the side to control foam. Allow a small head of bubbles (~1 cm). Dr Pepper has a fuller flavor — serve straight or with a lemon wedge if requested.

Chill glass: For best presentation, store highball glasses in the refrigerator or freezer for at least 15–30 minutes before service. If chilled glass is not available, rinse the glass with cold water and add ice to cool it.

Lime wedge garnish: Cut a 1/8–1/4-inch slit into the wedge and place on the rim or squeeze into the drink. Lime is recommended with Sprite and can also be offered with Diet Coke.
