Cooking Directions

1

Prepare the Marinade

In a bowl, combine minced garlic, dried oregano, cumin, chili powder, orange juice, pineapple juice, salt, and pepper. Mix well to create a marinade.

2

Marinate the Pork

Place the pork shoulder in a large resealable bag or bowl. Pour the marinade over the pork, ensuring it is well coated. Seal and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight.

3

Cook the Pork

Preheat the oven to 300°F (150°C). Place the marinated pork in a roasting pan. Cover with foil and cook for about 3-4 hours or until tender and easily shredded.

4

Shred the Pork

Remove the pork from the oven and let it rest for 15 minutes. Shred the pork using two forks.

5

Prepare the Tacos

In a skillet, warm the corn tortillas over medium heat until soft. Assemble each taco by adding shredded pork, chopped onion, and fresh cilantro. Squeeze fresh lime juice over the top.

6

Serve

Serve the pastor tacos warm with additional lime wedges and your favorite salsa on the side.
