Preparation
Prepare the Lobster
Fill a large pot with water, add sea salt, and bring it to a rolling boil. Carefully add the lobsters to the boiling water headfirst. Cover the pot and cook for approximately 8-10 minutes for the first lobster and an additional 3-5 minutes for the second lobster. The lobster shells should turn bright red when done.
Melt the Butter
In a small saucepan, melt the unsalted butter over low heat. Add minced garlic and cook until fragrant, about 2 minutes. Remove from heat and set aside.
Serving
Plate the Lobster
Once cooked, remove the lobsters from the pot and place them on a cutting board. Allow them to cool slightly before using a lobster cracker or knife to split them in half lengthwise.
Serve with Garlic Butter
Drizzle the melted garlic butter over the lobster halves. Squeeze fresh lemon juice over the top and sprinkle with chopped fresh parsley. Optionally, sprinkle with Old Bay seasoning and black pepper to taste.
Enjoy
Serve the lobster halves on a plate with additional lemon wedges on the side. Enjoy your freshly caught lobster prepared to perfection!
