Mix base
Add the amaro, blanc vermouth, aloe vera juice, and fresh lemon juice into a cocktail shaker.
Add 2 dashes of orange bitters to the shaker.
Fill the shaker with ice (enough to chill well) and shake vigorously for 10–12 seconds until chilled and slightly diluted.
Double-strain the mixture through a fine strainer into a chilled large wine glass or stemmed tulip glass filled halfway with fresh ice. Double-straining removes any aloe pulp or small ice shards for a silky mouthfeel.
Top / Finish
Gently top the strained cocktail with about 2 oz chilled sparkling wine to create a bright effervescence. Pour slowly so the bubbles integrate without over-foaming.
Express an orange twist over the glass (pinch the peel skin-side down to release oils) and rub the peel briefly around the rim, then drop the twist into the drink.
If using edible poppy petals or a micro herb, float them lightly on top for a delicate visual and aromatic accent.
Serve immediately with a short stir if needed to combine the top layer, and enjoy.
