Method

Preparation

1

Rinse the oranges under cool running water. Pat dry with a clean towel.

2

Place a cutting board on a stable surface and prepare a sharp knife. If desired, roll each orange on the countertop with your palm to loosen the juices.

Extraction

3

Cut and juice

Cut the oranges in half across the equator using the knife on the cutting board. Place halves into the citrus juicer and extract the juice directly into the tall glass. If you would prefer grapefruit, substitute 1 grapefruit for the two oranges at this step.

Pulp control and chill (optional)

4

If you want pulp-free juice, strain the juice through a fine-m mesh strainer into the tall glass.

5

Add 4 ice cubes to the glass if you like your juice cold.

Finish and serve

6

Garnish and serve

Gently stir the juice, then garnish with fresh mint leaves if desired. Serve immediately in the tall glass.
