Method
Preparing Chicken Tenders
- 1
Prep the Chicken
Cut the chicken breast into strips approximately 1 inch wide.
- 2
Set Up Breading Stations
In three separate shallow dishes, place the flour in the first, beaten eggs in the second, and breadcrumbs mixed with salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and paprika in the third.
- 3
Coat the Chicken
Dip each chicken strip first in the flour, shaking off excess, then into the egg, and finally coat thoroughly with the breadcrumb mixture.
Cooking Chicken Tenders
- 4
Heat the Oil
In a large skillet, heat the vegetable oil over medium heat until it shimmers.
- 5
Fry the Chicken
Carefully add the breaded chicken strips to the hot oil, making sure not to overcrowd the pan. Fry for about 3-4 minutes on each side or until golden brown.
- 6
Drain and Cool
Once cooked, transfer the chicken tenders to a plate lined with paper towels to drain excess oil.
Preparing Dipping Sauce (optional)
- 7
Mix the Sauce
In a small bowl, combine mayonnaise, ketchup, honey, and hot sauce. Mix until smooth and well combined.
