Crust Preparation

Preheat the Oven
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

Combine Crust Ingredients
In a medium bowl, mix the graham cracker crumbs, granulated sugar, and melted butter until well combined and crumbly.

Form the Crust
Press the crumb mixture firmly into the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan to form an even layer.

Bake the Crust
Bake in the preheated oven for 10 minutes. Remove from the oven and let cool slightly.
Filling Preparation

Prepare the Filling
In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth and creamy, about 2-3 minutes.

Add Sugar and Sour Cream
Gradually add 1 cup of granulated sugar and mix until well combined. Then add the sour cream and vanilla extract, mixing until smooth.

Incorporate Eggs
Add the eggs one at a time, mixing on low speed after each addition until just combined. Be careful not to overmix.

Add Flour
Sift in the all-purpose flour and mix until just incorporated.

Pour Filling into Crust
Pour the cheesecake filling over the cooled graham cracker crust, smoothing the top with a spatula.
Baking

Bake the Cheesecake
Bake in the oven for 50-60 minutes or until the center is set but still slightly jiggly.

Cool the Cheesecake
Turn off the oven and crack the door, allowing the cheesecake to cool slowly in the oven for about 1 hour.

Remove from the oven and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight, before serving.
