Directions
- 1
Infuse the Vodka
In a large clean glass jar, combine the Deep Eddy Vodka and fresh blueberries. Seal the jar tightly and let it sit in a cool, dark place for 5-7 days, shaking gently every day to mix. The longer it sits, the more intense the blueberry flavor will become.
- 2
Prepare Simple Syrup
While the vodka is infusing, prepare the simple syrup by combining equal parts sugar and water in a small saucepan. Heat over medium heat until the sugar is completely dissolved. Allow it to cool before using.
- 3
Strain the Vodka
After the infusion period, strain the vodka through a fine mesh strainer or cheesecloth to remove the blueberries. Transfer the blueberry-infused vodka back into a clean bottle.
- 4
Mix the Drink
In a cocktail shaker, combine 50 ml of the blueberry-infused vodka, 30 ml of lemon juice, 50 ml of simple syrup, and 1 tsp of lemon zest. Fill the shaker with ice cubes and shake vigorously for about 15 seconds.
- 5
Serve
Strain the mixture into a chilled glass filled with ice cubes. Garnish with fresh blueberries and mint leaves for a refreshing finish.
