Directions
- 1
Prepare the Coffee
Brew the espresso coffee and allow it to cool. If using coffee liqueur, mix it with the coffee.
- 2
Whip the Cream
In a large bowl, whip the heavy cream until soft peaks form. Gradually add in the granulated sugar and vanilla extract, and continue whipping until stiff peaks form.
- 3
Mix Mascarpone
In another bowl, gently fold the mascarpone cheese into the whipped cream until well combined.
- 4
Dip the Ladyfingers
Quickly dip each ladyfinger in the cooled coffee mixture, ensuring they are soaked but not soggy.
- 5
Layer the Tiramisu
In a rectangular dish, create a layer of soaked ladyfingers, then spread half of the mascarpone mixture on top. Repeat the process with another layer of soaked ladyfingers and the remaining mascarpone mixture.
- 6
Chill and Serve
Cover the dish with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight. Before serving, dust the top with cocoa powder.
