Method
Cocktail
Prepare glass
Select a large wine glass or rocks glass. Fill the glass with 4–6 large ice cubes until nearly full to chill and prevent excessive dilution.
Measure bitter liqueur
Pour 2 oz Aperol into the prepared glass. If you prefer a more bitter, deeper-flavored Spritz, substitute Campari and use 1.5 oz instead of Aperol (see optional section).
Add Prosecco
Slowly add 3 oz chilled prosecco down the side of the glass. Pouring gently preserves carbonation and creates the classic layered look.
Top with soda
Add 1 oz chilled soda water to lighten the drink. Stir gently once with a bar spoon (1–2 slow turns) to combine—avoid vigorous stirring to keep bubbles.

Notes
To adjust sweetness and bitterness: use 2 oz Aperol for a sweeter, lighter spritz; use 1.5 oz Campari for a more bitter, herbal profile. Keep the 3:2:1-ish ratio (Prosecco:Aperol/Campari:Soda) as a guideline.
If you prefer metric: 1 oz ≈ 30 ml (Aperol 60 ml, Prosecco 90 ml, Soda 30 ml).
