In three separate shallow bowls, place the flour in the first bowl, beat the eggs in the second bowl, and combine breadcrumbs, Italian seasoning, salt, and black pepper in the third bowl.
3. Bread the Cheese Sticks
Coat each mozzarella stick in flour, then dip it in the beaten eggs, and finally roll it in the breadcrumb mixture until fully coated.
4. Chill the Breaded Sticks
Place the breaded cheese sticks on a baking sheet and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to help the breading adhere.

In a large skillet or deep fryer, heat the oil over medium-high heat until it reaches 350°F (175°C).
