Pizza (6-inch signature pizza of your choice)
Classic BBQ Nachos
Method
Pizza (6-inch signature pizza of your choice)
- 1
Preheat and prepare
Preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C). If using a pizza stone, place it in the oven while preheating for at least 30 minutes. Lightly flour a work surface or use parchment to shape the 6-inch dough.
- 2
- 3
Assemble
Spread 1/4 cup pizza sauce evenly over the dough, leaving the outer 1/2-inch edge bare. Sprinkle 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella evenly over the sauce. Distribute 1/4 cup of your chosen main topping (for example, shredded BBQ chicken or pepperoni) and 1/8 cup of secondary toppings (onion, peppers, mushrooms) over the cheese.
- 4
Bake
Transfer the assembled pizza to the preheated oven (onto a hot stone, baking sheet, or directly on the oven rack with parchment). Bake for 8–12 minutes until the crust is golden and the cheese is melted and bubbling. Oven times vary; check after 8 minutes.
- 5
Finish
Remove the pizza, let rest 1–2 minutes. If desired, scatter 1 tbsp chopped fresh basil or cilantro over the top before slicing. Slice and keep warm while preparing nachos or serve immediately.

Preheat and prepare pan
Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) if not already hot from pizza. Line a small baking sheet or oven-safe dish with foil or parchment for easy cleanup.
- 7
Arrange chips
Spread 3 cups tortilla chips in an even single layer (or slight overlap) on the prepared baking sheet or dish so chips are mostly flat and can hold toppings.
- 8
Layer toppings
Evenly distribute 1/2 cup BBQ pulled pork or shredded rotisserie chicken mixed with 2 tbsp BBQ sauce over the chips. Scatter 1/4 cup black beans and 2 tbsp corn across the chips. Sprinkle 3/4 cup shredded cheddar and 1/2 cup shredded Monterey Jack evenly over the top. Add 2 tbsp pickled jalapeños (adjust to taste). Season lightly with 1/8 tsp salt and a pinch (1/16 tsp) freshly ground black pepper.
- 9
Bake until cheese melts
Place the nachos in the oven and bake 6–8 minutes, or until cheese is fully melted and toppings are warmed through. For a crisper result, broil 30–60 seconds at the end—watch closely to avoid burning.
- 10
Finish and serve
Remove nachos from oven. Drizzle additional 2 tbsp BBQ sauce lightly over the top. Garnish with 1 tbsp sliced green onion and 1 tbsp chopped fresh cilantro if using. Serve immediately with 2 tbsp sour cream or crema on the side for dolloping.
