Method
Crust & base
- 1
Preheat and prepare dough
Preheat oven to 475°F (245°C). If you have a pizza stone, place it in the oven while it heats. Lightly flour a work surface and stretch or roll the pizza dough to a 12-inch round (or to desired thickness). Transfer to a piece of parchment paper or a lightly oiled baking sheet.

Toppings
- 3
Prepare spinach
If spinach is large-leaf, roughly chop. Scatter the 2 cups of fresh spinach evenly over the garlic-coated dough. The spinach will wilt in the oven and create a mild bed for the chicken and cheese.
- 4
Add chicken and bacon
Distribute the 1.5 cups of sliced or shredded cooked chicken evenly over the spinach. Scatter the chopped, cooked bacon slices across the pizza so every slice will have bacon.
- 5
Cheese layer
Sprinkle the 2 cups shredded mozzarella evenly over the toppings, leaving the crust clear. Lightly dust the top with 1 tablespoon grated Parmesan. This cheese layer will melt and hold toppings together.
- 6
Season
Lightly season with 1/2 tsp salt, 1/4 tsp black pepper, and optional 1/2 tsp dried oregano and 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes to taste.
- 7
Bake
Transfer the pizza (on parchment or baking sheet) to the preheated oven or onto the hot pizza stone. Bake for 10–12 minutes, or until crust is golden and cheese is bubbling and slightly browned in spots. Rotate halfway through baking for even browning if needed.
Finishing & serve
- 8
Add ranch
Remove pizza from oven and let rest 2 minutes. Drizzle 1/2 cup of ranch dressing over the hot pizza in a zigzag pattern, or serve the full 1 cup on the side for dipping. If you prefer a lighter amount, reserve extra ranch for serving.
- 9
Slice and garnish
Use a sharp pizza cutter to slice the pizza into 6–8 pieces. If desired, sprinkle a few extra crumbles of cooked bacon or a light dusting of Parmesan on top. Serve immediately while hot.
- 10
Storage
Store any leftover pizza in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat in a 375°F (190°C) oven for 8–10 minutes or in a skillet over medium heat to maintain crispness. Refrigerate leftover ranch separately.
